James Tobin, President and CEO, Boston Scientific
Jim Tobin joined Boston Scientific as President and Chief Executive Officer in 1999, bringing with him health care industry leadership and vision that has helped the company build on its dramatic growth. Jim is driving Boston Scientific's strategic efforts to continue its global leadership position in the field of less-invasive medicine. The company develops, manufactures and markets less-invasive medical devices for use in a broad range of interventional medical specialties.
Before joining Boston Scientific, Jim was President and Chief Executive Officer of Biogen, Inc. He managed Biogen's research and development, manufacturing, marketing and sales. He joined Biogen as President and Chief Operating Officer in 1994 and became President and CEO in 1997. He also served on Biogen's Board of Directors.
He holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Tim Armstrong, President of Advertising and Commerce, Google
Tim Armstrong presides over Google's North American advertising sales and operations teams. Tim's team is located in cities across the U.S. and Canada, providing customers with local partnerships as well as centralized sales and services. His team works with some of the world's most widely recognized brands and advertising agencies, as well as some of the fastest growing medium-sized companies.
Tim joined Google from Snowball.com as that company's vice president of Sales and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to his role at Snowball.com, Tim served as director of Integrated Sales & Marketing at Starwave's and Disney's ABC/ESPN Internet Ventures working across the companies Internet, TV, radio, and print properties. He started his career by co-founding and running a newspaper based in Boston, MA, before joining IDG to launch their first consumer Internet magazine, I-Way.
Tim has been named one of the top "100 People to Know" for global media by Media Magazine and was awarded a Media Maven Award by Advertising Age in 2004. He sits on the boards of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), KnowledgeStorm Inc., and Associated Content Inc. Tim is a graduate of Connecticut College with a double major in Economics and Sociology.

Richard Whiteley, Best-Selling Author
Richard Whiteley is a successful entrepreneur, consultant, best-selling author, and a dynamic public speaker. He is CEO of The Whiteley Group, prior to which he co-founded the Forum Corporation, a global training and consulting company. In the 30 years prior to selling Forum in 2000, he helped build it into a 700-person firm that averaged an annual shareholder return of 36 percent. Concurrent with this, Richard also owned a retail store in Boston's famed Quincy Market Place.
Richard's first book, The Customer Driven Company: Moving From Talk to Action, was named one of the top four books of the year by Fortune magazine and one of the top 10 books of the decade by Human Resource Executive magazine. Customer Centered Growth: Five Proven Strategies For Building Competitive Advantage, was a Business Week best seller and named one of the top 5 books of the year by Selling Magazine. Love the Work You're With: Find the Job You Always Wanted Without Leaving the One You Have is about bringing spirit back to the work environment and was a CEOREAD best seller. His last book, The Corporate Shaman: A Business Fable is a business fable published by HarperCollins. He is currently working on a fifth book called Selling from the Insight Out.
Richard's clients include 3M, GE, Microsoft, Fidelity Investments, Mercedes Benz, Marriott, Sara Lee, and the Department of Treasury. He has also lectured at the Harvard Business School, MIT's Sloan School, USC and TCU. Richard has presented to over 500,000 business people in 27 different countries.
Richard received a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
